CALL # 7

On www.freetech4teachers.com there's a nice post about class badges. Teachers can create for their students their own badges. classbadges.com presents an online account that students can look which badges they got and in which school subject. I didn't try it because they ask you to sign in, but mainly because I see it as a headache, as a teacher, to go into this website after each lesson, and give out badges.

www.edudemic.com presents 20 digital learning day activities for your classroom (http://edudemic.com/2013/02/digital-learning-day-activities/ ). Apparently, tomorrow is the Digital Learning Day, which means that it's a day when everyone speaks and share technology in education. The blogger put 20 different simple activities that he posted before, and that teachers are already using.

The blogger of www.flipped-learning.com shares his thoughts about whether homeworks fit or don't fit the model of a flipped classroom. His bottom line is that he believes that flipped classroom is homework agnostic, but also that flipped classroom and the teachers who use it, can decide on their own if to assign homework or not.
